This map covers northern NSW extending from Murwillumbah in the north to south of Ballina, and extends from the coast to Nimbin and Tyalgum in the west. Side 1 covers the region bounded by Brunswick Heads, Nimbin, Tyalgum, Chillingham, Murwillumbah and Cabarita Beach. The many national parks and the extensive trails that exist within are featured on this side of the map. Wollumbin Mt Warning, Mt Jerusalem and Nightcap National Parks are all featured, together with lesser known national parks such as Mooball and Billinudgel. Side 1 includes an enlargement of Cape Byron State Conservation Area.
Side 2 covers the region bounded by Ballina, Byron Bay, Lismore, The Channon and Nightcap National Park. The Southern section of Nightcap National Park is on this side of the map, as well as The Channon, site of the Channon markets, together with Victoria Park and Uralba Nature Reserves.
Extensive field checking was undertaken during the production of this map. A combination of methods were utilised to ensure coverage of the terrain. Roads were explored by 4wd, bicycle and on foot. In total over 9,000km of roads and tracks were explored during the production of this map.
The map is filled with tourist information including points of interest, national parks information, picnic and camping sites, walking tracks and accommodation.
