The kids get their own sleeping bag! These bags are not so big that little kids will get lost in them (and lose some of the insulation benefits that a sleeping bag provides); they’re big enough to last more than a few years. These bags have heaps of features built in – just like the adults! The hood has plenty of soft Quadraloft fill and a pillow pocket for a full-size pillow or a stack of spare clothes as a makeshift pillow.
The soft-touch fabric doesn’t just feel cosy - it also reduces noise from the wriggly sleepers. Two layers of Quadraloft fill provide lofty warmth without the weight, with the added plus of being machine washable. Hanging loops are attached, so you can hang them out to dry when they're done. We use Dryfoot, a waterproof material around the foot section of the bag. This reduces the chances of wet feet when they’re pushed up against the inside of a tent that’s wet with condensation. It also adds another insulation layer to keep the kid’s feet nice and toasty.
The main zip around the foot end opens the bag as a quilt for even more temperature control. Auto-locking zips stop them from inadvertently opening during the night and are backed with anti-snag webbing to reduce the chances of them getting caught in the sleeping bag fabric.
